That's who does all my SBR engraving. They charge $45 to engrave an SBR. Turnaround is about two weeks. They are in Rockwall right off 30, a couple miles after you pass the lake.

I had my SBR done by a trophy shop in Lewisville. Depth is deeper than required , so I'm fine with it. She couldn't do it in some of the neat areas that Ident might (under trigger, or front of receiver) but for $20 and immediate turn around, I was happy.

Ident is also an SOT, suppressor manufacturer, and thermal/night vision manufacturer.

Dropped off my gun at Ident today. Hell of a nice group there. The owner talked my ear off about HK stuff and even gave me a little shop tour. I could not stop drooling over his HK21e!

Yeah, he loves to talk about HK stuff. Everytime I come up there to drop something off I end up knee deep in guns and technical shit and spend 3 hours up there.

I've got a question. Let's say you set up a trust and have your lower engraved. Ok fast forward a couple of years and you have to move to another city. Do you leave the engraving as is or do you need to change anything?

Leave as is, notify ATF of address change though.

If youre residing in the same state as the move, you dont need to do anything atf paper wise or engraving wise. If you move states you have to ask the atf for permission, but eouldnt have to worry about the engraving.

I moved from Grand Prairie to Keller and I sent off a two-edged letter stating I have an additional barrel (upper really) for my SBR (.223) and that I had changed my address.

I just got back a letter from them thanking me for keeping the registry updated and that they have updated my record.

Can't hurt to be on the good side of the law.

One can do it and it doesnt hurt, but its not a requirement.
