    i see what you are getting at but a laser on a gun carried as a CCW, home protection or duty weapon would actually help in a situation if you needed it

    i do laugh at the guys with the blood type patches, even at my best friend who has one lol

      A laser gives the shooter several advantages someone without one cannot have. You can fire the weapon accurately without waiting to aim down the sights. A CT laser doesn't obstruct anything, and doesn't take up rail space. It only functions when you have the gun in your hand, and you can block the laser with your index finger for rounding corners.

        When I called them crap I was not questioning their quality. I should have said not needed gear.

        In my life I have used 4 different guns to defend myself; none of them had lasers and I am still here to talk about it.

        Come to think about it lasers on guns did not exists back then and all of the guns that I used were very old designs.

                              Responding to a direct question when I brought the subject up seems normal. Please take note that I did not go into gory detail about it. Reliving my experiences in my mind is what causes problems and even if I don't like it it is still something that I frequently think about.
