I was thinking about it earlier this year and realized I didn't have a .22 rifle, only the handgun, so I wanted to correct that and have something to put my suppressor on, so I built a 10/22 from the parts I wanted. It's got a Volquartsen TG2000 Trigger and carbon fiber barrel, Brownells receiver and bolt, and Magpul stock.

It's pretty damn simple, find one that you want that is in stock from an FFL (preferably one who has a Silencer Shop kiosk) and buy it. Buy a Single Shot Trust from Silencer shop, fill out the form, do your finger prints and stuff at your dealer on the kiosk and pay the $200 stamp fee then wait. I've heard wait times as low as a few weeks lately. The dealer I use is https://www.hushdistribution.com/ and they can set you up with whatever you need and have a kiosk in the office. My .22 silencer is a Rex Silentum and it's awesome, I think it was like $200 or so a few years ago when I got it.
