I needed a front sling mount. I know the butt stock came with 2 mount points but I didn't. Like those locations. So all I added was the the front and rear end plate.

He's right. You should look at a magpul afg to replace all that junk on your rail, OP. Put one on some MOE grips, and enjoy a much lighter, faster handling rig.

AFG FTW. Although mine is mounted on a rifle length rail w/16". I dig it.

I love my AFG2. You talking about the MOE fore end, or the grip? Because I gotta disagree there, I love my Hogue grip, sooooo comfy!

The MOE fore end with the AFG is surprisingly comfortable, like some extra tight tactical pants even.

Ok yea the fore end is great. Wasnt sure if you meant the fore end or the pistol grip. I'm not a fan of the pistol grip, I love the Hogue one, but the MOE fore end is very comfortable

NOPE, im done with this rifle. i've already started having parts for my 6.8 build.
all im waiting for is the GB lower and barrel. should be ready by late spring,

if you look at the last pic. i have a vary plane and basic AR with just the carry handle also,

as far as the magpul AFG, i would really have too try it out in person before buying it.

Whatever makes you happy man. I make it a point to put a pressure switch activated flash light on every one of my rifles. Apparently I'm afraid of the dark...

At least you kept it top/bottom so it's not off balanced.
