I know its early in the game, but any idea when we may be able to start picking these up? Just trying to work out either shipment or picking them up myself if I'll be in town.

I plan on placing the order by the end of the month or possibly into march. I hope to pick up by EOM march. It is a difficult thing to speculate on, it all depends on how much I get in and how fast it comes in.

Is there any way in the future to get one or two of the lowers a dedicated 9mm lower? The magwell is smaller to accomodate sten or uzi mags without that huge ugly gap.

I'm just really done with Ar-15 lowers. .300 would be cool I guess, but I don't reload so it wouldn't be used much. 9mm or .45 acp would be neat if they could make dedicated lowers for us.

a 9mm lower is just an ar15 lower with a block in the mag well, they look like shit. The only dedicated .45 lower I've ever seen was an 80% lower that had to be milled. I posted it up on the board several years ago. Neither of these would have enough interest for a group buy.

Not true. Double Diamond and a few others have been making dedicated 9mm lowers for about 2 years now. The magwell is trimmed down just enough for Colt or Uzi mags.

I didn't know if Aero Precision had the capability of making them or not. I guess 9mm/.45 acp isn't as hot as I hoped it would be. I think it's kinda neat to have a pistol caliber carbine that us po' folks can afford.

No, they do not make them. Yes, I know what you're talking about, and I understood what you were talking about before. What I was saying if you want one, you can just use a block. These are ar15 manufacturers, double diamond's is a proprietary design.

Sunday afternoons works best but I only get one off a month. When the parts come in we can find a date that works.
