My Officer's model is simple to disassemble, but still not as brainlessly easy as the xd.
XD:
1. pull slide and engage slide stop
2. spin takedown lever
3. disengage slide stop and pull trigger.
That's pretty fucking simple.
Officer:
1. Pull slide back until takedown notch in slide aligns with the tab on slide stop
2. press slide stop pin out while holding the slide in proper position
Most people I know don't clear the tab on the first push every time. It definitely requires more dexterity than the KISS type XD steps.
