  • First time ever shooting..

Holy crap had no idea what I was missing. Buddy came into town with a new 9mm and invited me out.

We rented a Walther PPQ .40 cal and this was my 2nd magazine thru it at about 7 yards.

His brother in law had a nice AR-15 and let me shoot a few at 50 yards.

Also shot a .45 FMP. Great now I have a new hobby to waste money on...

There is not a chance in hell that firearms are as big of a waste of money as racing. While fun, race cars are not investments. Most guns won't depreciate much over time/use as long as they're not beat to shit.

lol you keep shooting your cheap guns. When you start upgrading you will see how expensive it can get. I just put 50 % down on my new gun and that prob was more than any of the guys car who've already posted.

It's not an expense if it doesn't depreciate. Ask your accountant.

feeding and buying the thing isn't free. It's an expense when you pay out of pocket for it. You must think when you get money at the end of the year you didn't pay much in taxes as well ?
