I've probably short several thousand rounds of WWB and I cannot recall ever having any problems with that ammo. That's not to say their quality hasn't deteriorated recently, I haven't purchased any in years. The only FTF I've ever seen on centerfire ammo is S&B 9mm. I had about 4 FTF's with their 9mm in my uzi, but I was shooting thousands of rounds that day.
As for the indentation you mentioned, the only thing that could really cause that is a short stroke inner mandrel on the case extruder. However, that's just around the case head walls, which are going to be thicker on the ID. In any event it shouldn't cause reliability issues.
