not an ak, but i heard the mini dracos are imported by century however they are NOT broken down to parts, packed in petroleum jelly totes, shipped and reassembled from a barrel of parts like their imported AKs. instead they come as 1 piece as assembled in romania.

Romanian AK's are bottom of the bin, honestly. Their construction is pretty bad, but it's difficult to screw up an AK. If they are cheap, get them. But just remember Russian Saiga's are $399 new ($350 in some places online).

I stopped at gander mtn and looked at the AKs there, the wasr was pretty junky. Mag was loose fitting and it just overall looked like shit. Lol. And the tapco grip was too small for my hand. I'm hoping ill get to stop by the military shop in fw tmrw as I'm dropping a load off blue mound this evening and staying overnight.

just keep in mind a Saiga is not a pistol grip AK, that's how Saiga is able to export to the US without their shit being fucked with. That's how it's all entirely Russian made. You have to convert it to a pistol grip (which is what I mentioned earlier).

They also will not accept AK magazines. You must mill the magwell out to do that.

Steve at MGS will do all of that for $150 if I'm not mistaken. Don't quote me on that though, definitely check with him first.

Well I'll be damned. Well I am in Midland and everything seems to be way more expensive around here. I can't remember the last AK I saw under $600 at a local gun show; but that is also why I have not bought an AK at a local gun show. Guess I'll be buying online whenever I decide to buy my next one; oh, and someone mentioned texasguntrader. I browse there now and then but there usually isn't much I am interested in for my area. I have a kid on the way anyhow; all my money is going towards baby stuff at the moment.

Thanks for the cheap AK link, by the way.

Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

Yeah I frequent that site and have bought a gun from there before. It is pretty much the best place to buy guns in the area.

they would make a great gun for the collection! an ar-15 or AR-10 would be my 1st choice due to what you can do to them

You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.
