Spray it in and leave it for a hour wipe it out. I've tried brushing as well and its really not needed.
I then spray it again and let it sit overnight. Couple patches, and most of the time the first hour gets all the copper.
My tikka as accurate as it is, it copper fouls like a mofo. Accuracy stays consistant.
It makes it to easy. For fast 15 min the gunslick works alright.
