      I'm no expert on these things, it's just opinion. If using it as a snake/rodent gun, I just think carrying around a 6" barrel in the woods would be a little cumbersome. I think 2.5" would be a little small.

      Although, if you do your outdoors stuff on private property - it's not like you have to worry about concealment. So you could holster it however you want.

      Again, these are just my opinions - I'm sure there are 101 counter arguments - it's one of those deals where ya gotta know what you want to do with the gun and then decide. Buy 3! 6" & 4" revolvers and then your Glock.
