So far I have 50 down the pipe. I did have 2 times the gun did not go to full battery...only short by a fraction of an inch. A quick tap to the rear and the slide seated and ready to go again. The gun is very tight. Slide to frame fit is well matched and there is no play. The sights are a hair too high and the gun shoots about 2 inches high at 7yrds at 13 yards it is about an inch. The groups are great...nice and tight one jagged hole for 5 rounds at 7yrds and mostly touching at 13yrds.

Now for the pics and then you can hate on me.

Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Based on others opinions on here about Kimber's, I'm surprised it hasn't self destructed due to poor quality control LOL! Nice looking gun.

Looks good. The few I have shot, shot well, I just always thought they cost too much, but I think I'm just cheap.

I put it in a vise and used a string for the first 5 rounds while I stood behind ballistic glass. Then I had a stranger who looked to be 12 shoot the next 5 rounds just in case. He looked expendable and his dad had a lawyer on speed dial.....we discussed splitting the proceeds.

Good looking gun. Mine did the exact same thing when i shot the first 100. Hasn't done it since after about ~300 rounds.

Cobra Commander recently bought one of the high dollar Kimber's along with a Springfield and says the Kimber is the better of the two. I did advise him however the Kimber's are garbage and it could jump out of his safe and shoot him at any moment. I suggested he keep the Kimber in the safe, and the Springfield in his nightstand in case the Kimber got loose and he had to defend himself.

Good looking Kimber, even though I am not a fan of rails on the 1911 platform.

I still like my Custom CDP II, but I have been having a problem with it ejecting the last round of the magazine (WC and Kimber mags) along with the previous spent case. No one I have talked to (Kimber, Wilson Combat, 1911 gurus) has ever heard of this issue, so they don't have any suggestions. The best suggestion any of them have offered was to let my left thumb ride the slide (WC) instead of placing it on the frame like I do with my Glocks. They think I am hitting the slide lock with that thumb. I have had it a year and a half and only have maybe 400 rounds through it. I am hoping that it will quit this soon as I don't want to send it back to Kimber.

Anyway, enjoy it. I hope you don't have any issues with it.
