Anyone know where I can get the best deal on one of these locally?

Specifically this one, I'm shooting for $450 (or less) out the door.

Man you missed it. Palmetto State Armory had the XD Sub Compact/ Fullsize 4" in 9mm and .40 back on 11/25 - 11/26 for $349.99 + shipping.

I just got my full size 4" in (FINALLY) but, other than what's posted above, can't say I've seen any deals.

CTD sells them for $430+tax so that's pretty close.

I spoke with Bachman Pawn last weekend. On the 31/01 Dec/Jan they will be at Will Rogers again for a show and will have the Sub Compact and the 4" Service XD for $399.

CTD currently has a sale on their SC for the 9 & 40 for $399.00

Stay tuned for a thread on doing a few mods to the XD's. I just installed an oversized slide release, take down lever and mag catch...up next on the table is the trigger. These are simple to work on with a basic punch kit and parts are cheap.

Good to know. I'm really digging the XD's after the XD .45 Service Model I bought earlier in the year. Probably can't afford it right now but I'd really like to get the new XDm Sub Compact .45 they released recently.

I did for a while until I bought a good holster. If they left it out and sold it cheaper it would be even better!

It was a black friday deal...someone posted it in the Armory somewhere and I didn't believe them/thought it would be sold out. It was smack dab in the middle of their website's front page.

And if you bought one before 11/30 you get an extra 3 mags and a xd mag holster for free from Springfield.

Bam, 5 mags total.
