  • Importing firearms, accessories, and ammo.

Being that I will be in Romania in the next few weeks, I will be with my girlfriend touring around trying to see the arsenal manufacturers.

    Arme Cugir http://www.umcugir.ro/

Along with whatever I find there as well, along with CZ in the Czech Republic.

Does anyone know the procedures for importing AK magazines or any other weapons?? I know that AK magazines are sold dirt cheap there and I see a possible potential in sales in the US.

    Thanks in Advance.

I think you have to file form 6 for anything in relation to weapons of war.

I would think if it's just magazines, put them in a box and mail them home. As for a weapon i don't know. I bought a Yildiz shotgun outside Incirlik Turkey once but i smuggled it home on my C-130.

And i've been to Romina a few times and my advice is to be careful. And if your stop in Czech is Prague? Have fun, it would be better if you we're single. Hit up Old Town and avoid Zizkov.
You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

As for the single part, been there done that. Did not hook up with any Czech chix. I will try to find out more info. I ask this because they do have handguns also available and since they are not full auto conversions, I wanted to know.

My old bosses wife brought back 5 of those Yildiz from Turkey (she was military) on a C130 and like a dumbass I passed on one. They were $125 each. ended up buying one, an over/under 20g 2 years ago for $349 at academy.

Call me crazy, but fully understanding just getting a weapon from one state to another...etc...etc is technically a PITA. I'd not want to bother with international.

My basic question is, I can't just send those to an FFL can I? They have to be processed by an importer? But not for magazines anyway. I would like a PSL knowing they sell them for about 400 lei = $125 USD.
