  • Indoor 100yd Rifle Range around Dallas?

Unfortunately I have developed a flinch when shooting since I broke my shoulder last year. I need to get to a 100yd range sometime this week if available. I work till 5PM every day and it's almost dark when I leave work. I have tried the Garland range after dark and it does not seem to have enough light for me to see where I hit the target at 100yds after dark. I have tried binoculars, spotting scopes and the targets that turn green with no luck. Does anyone know of an indoor 100yd rifle range around?

    TYIA!

Edit: I searched google and this forum before posting this. It's either not out there, or I suck at the interwebernets!

Bass Pro has an indoor range but you have to call ahead and setup an appointment as it is only a one lane range

If you can settle for a 50 yard range you might try Target Masters in Garland.

Are you flinching because of recoil anticipation? I'm wondering what a little dry practice could do for you until you find a range.

Yea, that is the only explanation I can think of. Never had a problem until I broke my shoulder last year.

Thanks for the info/heads up folks, I'll call BPS.

This is what I was going to suggest. Grab you a snap cap and just sit around practicing squeezing the trigger and getting used to the break over...

And just a heads up, Bass Pro is not going to help with your flinch. If anything that shit hole will make it worse....

True, although I have never stepped into the box I can see it from upstairs and they have this machine that fires the rifle for you so not sure if you can "free fire" without the machine.
