Yes and although its the big frame for Glocks, I don't mind it. I've got pretty big paws. Other than fit in my hands being fine, it being a larger gun isn't a problem because that's the niche I'm wanting this gun for.

So for a while now, Ive been wanting a full size larger caliber night stand/truck/winter carry/trail protection gun. For the longest I was thinking I wanted another 1911 but the capacity kills it for me and a double stack 1911 doesnt feel right.

What brand 1911 double stacks have you held? A 2011 doesn't feel right but a G20 does? I don't know anyone who prefers a glock because of the ergonomics over a 2011.

7.62x25 is considerably higher velocity than even the 10mm. That round is insane. I've chrono'd surplus 7.62x25 at 2,000fps, .357sig doesn't even come close. Although .357 sig is a great round, the 10mm is faster and heavier in every table. Both are perfectly fine for hog hunting.

Para and its not that the ergonomics are better on the Glock, its that its literally odd to have a fat gripped 1911. It might just all be in my head, just akward. If I picked one up in the dark without knowing its a 1911, I probably wouldn't think as much of it. Either way a Glock 21 with conversion is more appealing to me.

1600 would be your normal load for 7.62x25. surplus ammo regularly varies between 1,800-2,000 depending on the batch. When I look at the guns that shoot that round... it's terrifying. But then again, terror is at the heart of all russian weapons.

I personally have never had a problem and I'm not really a Glock nut hugger, but I've shot thousands of rounds and never even had a feeding issue. I carry a G32 and I trust my life and my familys life with it. Mostly I carry it with only 7 rnds and it is very carry friendly as fas as weight is concerned, I forget its there unlike ANY full iron gun.

For me it's the ergonomics (or lack thereof), weird quirks (like unable to fire lead bullets), no safety, and how uncomfortable they are to shoot. And lastly, I think they're ugly guns.

Thats understandable and most of the time its the ugly part that I hear but I don't jack off too it, so it works for me, haha!

I had a pre-ban G21 and thats the gun I shot thousands of round through, as Jose can attest I disliked them as well, for most of the same reasons as you've stated, but I've shot pretty much everything and it just works ALL the time. My mfg. of choice is the Sig Sauer, the engineering is phenomenal, never had a jamming issue with any of them either.

I don't disagree they are very reliable. Banging a giant fat chick is reliable also.

I have thousands of rounds through my g26 and not one single issue. I prob have a couple thousand through my Beretta 90-two and never an issue as well. I think a big part of it is taking care of your weapon, much like a car.

To stir the pot a little, I do not like I have ever seen a 1911 that didnt have a failure.

This is true, I bought my G32 last year, went to the range and to prove a point to my son and a few others, I loaded it with some "good shit" and at 25, 35 yrds the grouping was impressive to me and everyone else around.
