  • reloading room color. aka man cave.

Finally get a little man cave. It will be my office and gun/reloading room.

It is in a basement and two walls are cinderblock. I have those white for light refleaction. I've got to paint the floor and two sheetrock walls. The reloading bench is going to mounted to the wall.

Those who have done it what do you wish you had done.

basement!!! that's ware all the paranormal activity is at.

i think. as long as you install more and better lights. it won't matter too much,
i would go with like an almond color. add a dimmer switch find the right brightens,

Without my gun hobby. I would cut off my own dick and let the rats eat it...

I think a mural painted on one wall would be cool, like a special ops guy in afganistan, setup with a barrett .50 cal looking over some valley

                  Lmao at Yale.

No more walpaper. I just spent two days ripping that shit down. I'll prob go with a bright color or hunter green.

The desk will be a L shape with 72 inch work surface on both sides. I've never had a lot of space and I'm excited as hell.

I vote zombies. That would be pretty easy to paint while drunk, or at least convince some drunk friends to help you paint. Put some busted out windows painted on the wall with zombie arms trying to reach inside. That would be cool along with some other outside views of the pending apocalypse incoming.
Be pretty funny when showing ppl the room too as an added bonus.

                        or

paint one of those 3D things like they do on the sidewalks.
Except do it on the wall, with the perspective based on the entry to the room.
Have like a safe picture with tons of ammo boxes and guns in it.
Would be pretty easy , and you don't necessarily have to get crazy with the detail on the guns.

Where are you? Basement? Must be nice!

I'd recommend building a large ass bench and make it REALLY well built. I used 2 2x4's tall oriented and it wasn't near enough, still use a post directly under my press. My desk space is just enough for what I need, and I have 16' of counter space. I personally wouldn't recommend going deep with your desk, keep it shallow so everything can be reached easily.

I'm in Kansas cj. I was in Iowa, but moved to farm in Kansas.

For the price I can't decide if I want to weld a metal frame. And put a wood top on that. Or use 4x4's as supports and build the rest with 2x4 and 2x6.

Is it worth laminating the top?

Exactly what I am doing. Steel frame, wood top with laminate.

My office/man cave has 10' celings so I ran black shelves at 8' to break it up. The bottom is bright whore red, left the top white.
