I got one for my son last christmas and the trick is to get the right ammo with the right recoil spring. They give you a light one and a heavy one so you can put the one you need in. Not sure if it's for Black Friday, but I've been watching prices on Cheaper Than Dirt and they lowered their prices on Smith & Wesson snubbies. They have the stainless 642 .38 special +P for $321 and the Pro Series one for $348.
This is significantly cheaper than anywhere else I've looked (even at Bud's Gun Shop the regular one is $360) Just ordered one for myself for Christmas. They will ship to their local stores for $10.99 and you don't have to pay extra for the FFL transfer. They had the regular one in store last time I went to the McKinney one but not sure if the price is the same.
