I noticed you do it a few times, figured it was time for some correction.

Well got the one together, picking up another lower tomorrow. I guess that will be the one I convert to 9mm.

ok now I an second guessing looking into the CMMG deticated upper with the plum crazy complete lower do you guys think this would be a better .22 than the colt M4 ??

I can build a full .22 ar for same price as the colt. I honestly would not want to use the cheap lower on a normal AR but for a dedicated .22 I think it would be fine and then I would have trigger options ?

Ive read plum crazy has a decent warranty but read mixed reviews. I dont know how i feel about a plastic lower. I'm picking up another complete RIFLE, colt 6450 le.

I would not hesitate to use a plum crazy lower based off the few people I know who have one. At least from a functionality/how it looks to be made/how sturdy it felt point of view.

Looking at one in person a few weeks ago, it seemed absolutely fine to me.

My problem comes into play, with just -liking- the metal lowers. I can't help it and am not very open minded.

However, for an extremely light weight build, I think it would be nice to use there.

Tempting... that is so much fun for so little money... I don't know why anyone would want a giant heavy bulky AR-15 in .22 when you can get a light, small, and more reliable 10/22 for 1/3rd the price.

My M&P 1522 was quite a bit lighter then my 10/22
Now my Colt 22 is pretty stout, but I dont think it is too much heavier then my 10/22.

From what I've seen when using a complete upper they're very reliable, I like the ability to shoot tons of different ammo with the same gun more the less. I'm seeing complete uppers used for 200 bucks.

for me personally I really would like to have an AR but I am not person that is going to do much hunting with it so for plinking and general shooting about 2x a week this is a great way to kill two birds with 1 stone for me. I would never actually need a .223 round AR

Because your 8 year old son wants to shoot a rifle just like dad's AR. He's got a 10/22 he likes to shoot when he's trying to shoot something small like turtle noggins, but to just blast cans and veggies with he picks the CMMG every time. And when he starts shooting a .556 AR he will already be familiar with the controls.
