More bad media for gun owners. DONT BUILD YOUR HOUSE BEHIND THE GUN RANGE AND YOU WONT HAVE PROBLEMS!
At the range I work for, someone just a few months ago built a home BEHIND the range property. The range is years old, and they still thought it was a good idea. People are just not smart.
Years ago, I heard one of the funniest but most true sayings, "If you don't want to get hit, don't get in the bullets way." Stupid mother fucker shouldn't have bought a house downrange.
It's just like people buy houses close to D/FW Airport, that were built after the airport, and then complain about the noise.
"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

This is an epidemic every where you go, its insane. I did all my flight training in south florida and people would CONSTANTLY bitch. We had one guy claim to have radar gun to gauge our agl. The airport was there way before any of the houses and we'd constantly have to deal with all the bullshit complaints. Its like you got a cheap deal on the house RIGHT next to an airport. It's going to be loud. One person got so irritated he got his riffle out and took a shot at an R22
I live about 2 miles due south of the GPGR and she aint kidding about the noise. Sounds like someone re-roofing a house down the street all day. I can imagine the neighborhoods nearby are incredibly noisy. There was a church built close to centerville that closed within a year and moved and its less tha a mile away.
I can see there argument - the gun range owner needs to maintain insurance and do some due dilligance, but the real fault is of the FUCKING MORONS who cant shoot the fucking targets. These are the same fuckwits that piss all over the floor, stalls and walls in public restrooms. If people would keep their rounds down to paper and not start doing indirect fire on suburbia on the otherside of the 30ft berm then we wouldnt have this problem.
Homeowners are dointg the only thing they can - airport isnt a great example because you dont hear about a Southwest pilot doing low altitude inverted flybys of apartment pools in the flight path
Anyone here ever met that bitch? She will do ANYTHING to make a story sound better....she's a fucking lying bitch whore who oversensationalizes everything, only reports on HER side of the story, and god forbid you present any rational or reasonable evidence to contradict anything she says she will go apeshit, ignore what you said, turn off the camera, and then only report what SHE wants people to see. FUCK BECKY OLIVER!!!!

People build homes thinking that the range will go away, or the Gubment will protect them.
Hell, Dallas PD is having to move because of all of the development going on behind their range off of Mountain Creek PKWY.
I don't see how anyone could miss the target that bad at that range. I think I'll go by there and see what powerlines are there that people might be tempted to shoot.

First off I cant stand that woman, she is a total bitch.
As far as the guy, he got hit by a damn bullet while in his backyard! This isnt some non-lethal trivial BS like noise, the guy almost died! IMO, the range is liable for it and they should safegaurd against this or take responsibility when it happens. Whether that means higher burms, wood stops like they have now, or just flat out buy all the land behind the range to ensure no one is back there. Insurance is absolutley a bare minimum requirement and I cant believe they dont have any.
