Jeff
Pay in full or deposit a percentage?
You can get a Gemtech in 1/2 x 28 ?
What kind of turn around have you been seeing on Form 3 approval? My Form 1 for my SBR took 5 1/2 months, wayyy too long for my patience to endure.

I apologize, by tax I mean sales tax.
I need at least 50% down as a deposit.
Yes, I can get 1/2 by 28.
I am seeing anywhere from 1 week to about 3 weeks on the Form 3. Form 4s are another story and that approval may take 6 months so this may still test your patience.

I have a LWD conversion barrel now for my Glock 22 that is threaded 1/2x28 and I want to get a 9mm Carbine (AR-15) that has the same threaded barrel, so I can swap the suppressor onto either/or...basically make the most, or rather least bang for my buck.

msrp on the osprey is like $850 for a .45 then a osprey piston is $75.
so $925 to supress both 45 and 9mm with only having to pay 1 tax stamp and transfer fee.
i would guess there would be other brands that offer caliber conversion.www.hppmotorsports.com

The Osprey is THE baddest mid/large caliber suppressor on the market. So many cool new features. But Silencerco doesn't make cheap stuff, it's going to be expensive. MSRP is $849, and I think you can find it for as low as $550 on a real good deal.
I actually was talking with Joshua over there today. It's currently approved for 9mm, .40, .45, 10mm, and .300BLK/.308 WIN sub.
Already saving as it's my next can.Last edited by CJ; 11-16-2011, 04:34 PM."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Nice. I got with Jeff and I'm going to get the Sparrow. And then next up on the list is the 300 BLK with a suppressor (really leaning toward SBR, but not sure if I want to go with full-length in the mean time or just wait). It would be awesome if I could get an Osprey and use it for all my handguns and the Blackout.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyHOORAY ME and FUCK YOU!

Sorry to bring up an old thread.
I am looking to suppress my Glock model 22 that I have converted to 9mm with a threaded 1/2x28 barrel. Will the Gemtech OUtback II still work with a 9mm? I just re-read through this thread and I think I lead you all to believe I am trying to suppress a .22, which I do not even have.
If not, what are some options on a 9mm pistol/carbine?

I read that it can take 3 weeks or more to transfer it from a dealer to an FFL, and then I'd have to wait for my paperwork to clear before the FFL could transfer it to me; I'd like to skip the dealer to FFL if it really does take any extra time, and if I can find somebody that has it in stock."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
