You're entitled to your opinion, but IMHO the Glock is overpriced for what it is.
LOL. Get the fuck out of here with that. Weren't you the one nitpicking the width of a gun here:
So I'm looking for a carry weapon for summer time. My HK USPC is a little difficult to conceal in shorts and a tshirt so I wanted to find something with a smaller profile. Went to CTD and saw the Kahr CW40. Fits all 4 fingers, single stack 7+1 if I'm not mistaken. Only drawback is the loooooong pull and no safety. Basically

Your opinion means shit. Sorry broseph. Everyone should be aware of how much you hate Glocks. I would swear to Christ that a Glock raped your sister if I didn't know that A Glock would never do that sort of thing.

Please see bottlerocket's posting in this thread if you'd like to see a demonstration of his bias.

For a concealed carry I was wanting something slimmer than I already had. I don't believe Buzzo owned a P7 variant so that wouldn't be a direct comparison. I used the fullsize .40 of each brand so not to be biased. If the Glock was the thinnest of the bunch and I liked the ergonomics, I would have purchased one. But I preferred the Kahr. Oh did I mention its much cheaper? So by Buzzo's logic, its better than a Glock. Its cheaper, lighter and less bulky. Looks like that argument doesn't hold water.

He said HK is bulky and Glock isnt. Thats just not true. He also said its heavy and Glock isnt, which also is not true. So get the fuck out of here with your shit.

          Actually, he said:

Your statement only proved his point. So just because you don't recognize the lighter, thinner, higher capacity, and similarly indestructible gun that sells for ~60% of the HK's price as a bargain, doesn't mean that it's not. Then you state that it's "overpriced"? Please tell me what fucked up planet that you live on.

Get off of your high horse. Insinuating that other people should hit the gym, or have tiny hands because they want a thinner or lighter gun, when you yourself have posted comparable issues on this very same forum really makes you look immature.

Its overpriced to me because I don't like how it points, it feels cheap in my hand and the ergonomics suck IMO.

Right, so lets ask Buzzo which HK he sold and which Glock he purchased. I already own a semi-auto handgun and I wanted something small, cheap and easy to conceal. The weight and thickness difference is considerable compared to my other handgun. So unless he had a fucking Mark 23 and sold it for a Glock 36, trading from HK to Glock isnt going to result in a drastic difference like when comparing my USP-C to the CW9. If the CW9 as it sits now was branded Glock I would have purchased it, but its made by Kahr. Sorry you can't accept that I just dislike Glocks. If they ever made a gun I like, I'd be inclined to buy it, but until then I'll continue to stay away from their product.

I like my HK and don't care for Glocks. Whether or not you can handle that I really don't care. So kindly fuck off

Evidently you haven't held a HK P7. That is my carry weapon of choice, and I'll admit I see what you are saying about feeling "cheap". But the P7 definitely does not fit that bill.

Wow! This thread went from HK's sketchy business practices to a HK vs. Glock thread fast.

One of the main reason a lot of people like HK's is the grip angle, there are a lot of people who just can't naturally point a Glock and achieve proper sight alignment . HK's also have external safety's and that matters to some as well.

No shit, I posted it because of the irony; the germans can't succesfully bribe mexicans.

Then someone had to bring up the other crappy teutonic gunmaker as if that made a difference.

Neither can hold a candle to Llama.

Again, I don't debate subjects based on opinions, and If someone wants to own an HK then good for them.

Until one of you brain surgeons tells me why the HK pistol costs almost double the amount of a Glock and warrants the high ass price then I'm done. I have owned both, and many other pistols and I cannot find one good reason for the HK pistols being so damn high.
