  • Flash light for Self Defense?!

I'm visiting Chicago and i can't carry there. really really unfortunate. Soo I wanted to know what would be a good self defense flashlight?

I saw this...and thought this would be a useful addition to my pocket knife. It looks compact and bright. I just wanna blind him before i kick the bad guy in the nuts.

    Any recommendations or suggestions?

hahaaa....Good idea. Is that what you carry? Do you find that the fancy HK sand is better than the regular glock sand?

i thought of this, but it'll be cold when i go and not sure if it'll 'zap' through thick layers of clothes.

I have a pretty good Smith & Wesson (SW775CR) that I picked up a while back just because it was cheap. Turns out, it's a lot of flashlight for the money. Seems to be WAY brighter than the 100 lumens that it's rated at. It's easily small enough to fit in a pocket, but has enough weight to it that it could be used as a weapon if necessary. Also, I would really hate to be smacked in the dome with the lens cap, it could do some serious damage.

Carry a laser powerful enough to burn your assailant. That way the cops can identify them easily.

When I lived in Chicago, this guy hooked me up with a blade. The legal length of a pocket knife in Chicago is 2.25 inches. You can learn to do alot of damage with the right 2.25 inch knife.

That thing almost came in handy several times walking home from the subway station at 4 AM. Luckily I never had to use it.

                          Thanks again Adam.
