Keeping a safe queen question.

Just curious if it is better to keep it in the case inside of the safe or out of the case inside of the safe. The safe IS moisture controlled.

Throw some dessicant packs in a soft case, put the gun in the soft case, put the whole thing in the gun safe.

Ok, I've just got it in the original case and it's in the safe that has desiccant in it. Curious about the advantages of putting it in a soft case with desiccant in it? Extra protection?

Basically. It also keeps you from bumping into it with something else and marring the finish.

I keep all mine in my safe with a shit ton of silca packs.
Ones I have left in cases, soft or hard, have always rusted.

What about leaving my Colt in its original packing? (wrapped in wax paper in a cardboard box in another box in my safe)
