remington 700 sps $397 at wall-mart???

hey guys, i just got back from wall-mart. in mesquite hw? 80.
went in to pick up some 223 and 40 s&w. as im waiting for someone to unlock the ammo case. i've started looking at the rifles...

saw a remington 700 308 and a 243. with some kind of cheap ass scopes on em,
for $397 sorry i was in a hurry so i didn't get detailed info. all i saw in the TAG was rem 700 sps and the CAL,

i thought the cheapest rem 700. would be around $500 up any ideas?

Im seriously considering this rifle. It will be my1st bolt gun.
I don't care for a fancy wood stock. Because im going to Camo dip it anyway.

ADL doesn't have the bottom hinged floor plate. With some modifying, the BDL can be converted to detachable magazine.

Nah, the slight edge goes to Remington for performance once you start spending money. The Savage will always be easier to work on though, because they don't require any special machine work to rebarrel or modify. You can build them on your kitchen table. Out of the box Savage has fantastic barrels.

First time I saw one that is what I thought too, but Walmart has pacakaged 700s that are labeled ADL/SPS. See a couple camo ones also.

Didn't know they offered 700's scoped, interesting. I can't get your link to show a price no matter what zip code I put in.

Soap I think that was a 770, never seen a 700 cheaper than $500 either. If it is a 700 I would grab one at that price.
