Question on ar primer strikes from chambering.

With a hunting round it can be ran in time and time again. How many times is safe before the round needs to be fired or discarded.

So your primer is getting struck by the firing pin when you chamber it?

Every ar ive ever seen leaves a mark on the primer.

Completely normal. Ar's have a floating firing pin. Unless the hammer strikes the pin, it will not have enough force to detonate a primer no matter how many times the pin hits the primer on chambering.

I knew it was normal. I go hunting a lot in iowa and i can have the same round get re chambered many times. It can be up to 40 times before a coyote decides to come in up here.

They are not as hungry as southern yotes.

After a while i put them in the range ammo bin to check my scope at the range.

If your loading the same round 40 times in an AR, you might want to check C.O.A.L. to make sure the bullet hasn't moved from all that slamming around.
