It reads in the description that it's for a dovetail mount. My M60 has a channel atop the receiver, that's the dovetail you're referring too right? If so, this should work on your rifle. When you click on the pic, you can see a channel cut into the mount on the bottom side. Does that make any since?Comment

Wished I could have been more assistance, but I put a Bushnell scope on my M60 and it came with a set of rings. Leupold has a set of see thrus that allow an optic to be used while retaining the use of your iron sights. Figured since they don't seem to offer much in the way of dovetail optic mounts, the rail from DIP would open up more options.Comment
