Airsoft weapons ?

Dont knock it till u try it. Its a shit ton of fun. Yes, Im a grown man who has bought these rifles etc (from redwolfairsoft.com, kastwayairsoft.com, airsoftelite.com, etc), the gear (red dots work great. These .2 and .25g bb's are accurate enough that a red dot is very useful. Scopes on the other hand... no.), and played numerous scenarios in my day. I havent played much with in the last few years but would in a heartbeat. Great fun, great training if your in a good group, and as realistic as it comes to real combat and shoot em up bang bang stuff. Cj, if I ever get back into it, Id be more then happy to bring you along to a practice day with my guys and borrow a few guns. And my team isnt a bunch of 12 year old . Im one of the youngest at 27. Plus all are ex or current military or LEO. Boys and our toys!

Yep serveral times. Airsoft is just cheaper and easier to manage. I have thought about pitching this stuff to my Dept and my SWAT team. Figured this be a money saving endevour to train with. They make any and every gun nowadays.
**Edit** Oh, and Sims hurt like a sonova and half the time those damn things dont bust. Force on Force brand are especially worse on both accounts.

I agree with all of that, I only used sims when the department paid for them. They do hurt like a mofo if they hit an unprotected area.

I wish we could do our CHL test with simunitions. I would feel so much safer when on the line with 10 people, lol

Two months ago during monthly training we were at a local high school doing room assaults with possible hostage. I was door kicker and 4th (of 4) in the stick. I opened the door, let my 3 guys file in and I wouldfollow on the heels of guy 3. Before I broke the plane of the room, they were already saying they had suspect down. As I entered with my Glock sims, I see one bad guy in opposite corner on the ground and shot, hostage next to him unharmed, and a 3rd suspect laying face down just past the door. He was my immediate "threat" so I gave him a looksee. He then turns his head to look at me, pulls his hand from under him aand has a gun. I put 4 rounds into him. That bastard (team medic, danged hose jockeys) still shot me after I finished killing him! One shot, 10 ft away into my unprotected groin. That sent me reeling I'm pain backwards into a wall. Goodtimes...
