So it was like christmas today!

I got a call from my gun shop telling me that my rifle came in, so I went and got it. I also got home and there was a package from MidwayUSA in my mailbox! So I got everything put together. All in all it's a LaRue PreditAR 5.56 with black magpul MOE furniture, magpul BAD lever, magpul AFG2, JP muzzle brake, BCM charging handle and a Burris Tac30 1x4 on a burris P.E.P.E.R. mount. I'm planning on getting to the range here in the next few days, this weekend at the latest. I'm pretty excited and wanted to share with you guys.

I actually got mine in yesterday as well, local FFL got it in around 2pm. Lefty 2TL Stag with an added TA31RCO ACOG found locally for 500 bucks. CJ taught me how to load all the ammo you see in the pic below, definitely next on my list of stuff to start acquiring... reload equipment and a safe.

What kind of case did it come with? Mine is of the 10 dollar walmart grade and is already having hinge problems.

Mine came in that tan case in the pics. Pretty nice for a give away case IMO. But I have no use for it, I will carry that in a Midway Bag. Not going to be able to make it to the range day, I'd love to, but I'm in VA Beach. I'm going to try to get out to the range today, I have high hopes for it!

Dude i still don't feel safe putting my loaded rounds in a tumbler. But these are some nice setups.

In a semi-trailer ammo gets knocked around a ton more violently... and quite a bit of it is loose in boxes. No issues there.

Did you see those 2 independent tests showing that it's completely safe I posted up in the last thread this was discussed in? And since you use a single stage you don't have to worry about that anyways. If I wasn't tumbling after I loaded them it would look just as good.

Tumbling after loading is only to remove the lube, they are only in there for like 5-10 minutes. But even then tests show 24 hours of straight tumbling has an almost immeasurable effect on chamber pressure and velocity. Just an old wives tale, or perceived danger when there is none.
