I'm pretty sure if I landed a 10lb shell with a 1lb bursting charge from a parrot rifle at the base of the car it wouldn't need 2500fps.

As long as a projectile achieves that velocity traveling through the explosive it will detonate.

I have no issue with getting this and parting out the usable and just shooting the ugly, or possibly killing it with fire (or explosives).
