I love my Kimber. Never had a single issue with it clocking about 1000 rounds.

So Tell me about the Ultra Ten II.....
I am trying to decide between a UCII i found in great shape with a low round count and a few accessories and the Ultra Ten II EW has posted in the Classifieds....
The one he has up on here appears to be a great deal but the reviews I found on google for the Ten II were not exactly flattering...

Matter of fact, Ill bet you $1,000 that I can fire my plain jane Colt more times without a malfunction than any kimber owner on the board can fire their gun. Loser pays for all ammo.
Dead serious.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

Btw, I love my Kimber
To the OP, ignore the pictures... they're irrelevant... if you shoot any gun its going to wear... I shot my full size Kimber (Custom TLE II) competitively for a couple years and never had a malfunction... I would look at the shooter and not the gun... I have an Ultra CDP II as well and the only time it malfunctioned was when the shooter limp-wristed it... its a .45 with a three inch barrel, you better hang onto it...

So is it a 1k bet, or loser pays for ammo?

I liked the Kimber.
I liked the Colt.
I shot both.
I found a great deal on a Kimber.
I pick up Said Kimber Tomorrow.
At some point if I found a great deal on a colt I might own one of those too.
You People having a hang-down competition are missing the point of my post.

Everything I have read about the Kimbers has been more good then bad so I am comfortable with my decision.

Way to ignore the fly in the ointment.
