Kimber?

Sooo,

My G27 is leaving me today.

I am going to build an AR first but after the dust settles from that expense I want to start saving for a Kimber. I like the look, size, and feel of the Ultra Carry...
Opinions?

I love my UC2. Sure some $2500 Les Bear custom is probably nicer but for the $$$ I have in mine it's awesome. The only complaint I have is the way it comes apart for cleaning, compared to my Sig it's a hassle.

I carry a full size 1911, and I am 6'2 160 lbs



It is easy.

Carry my 4" Springfield all day every day at 3 oclock, and a spare mag in a mag carrier at 9 oclock.

ive been carrying my 14+1 double stack 1911 since the weather is abit colder. 6'1@ 205. while i can tell the difference between it and the g27, it isnt at all bad.

I'm sure it's easy, but I wouldn't want to lug all of that extra weight around when you can carry a gun about half it's weight.

As for thoughts on a 3" 1911...I had an Ultra Carry for a little while. Carry-wise, it was great, real comfortable. Shooting wise, I wasn't feeling it. Too much barrel-flip for me.
