Depending on the rifle $250-$350 is average.
I had one that was factory full camo. Sold it for $350 and wish I hadn't, never seen another one like it....

I've got one that my uncle gave me about 12 years ago. Shoots great. Cool rifle, and I'll probably never get rid of it. It was my first gun.

Very nice choice. I'm just starting to explore 30-30 myself.

my step dad gave me his '65 model 30-30 lever winchester that was handed down to him from his father who bought it brand new. it means a lot to me and probably will never let it go. in terms of performance, excellent deer rifle for 100 - 150 yards. it loses a lot of take down energy beyond that for big game. at least with the ammo that i used to put in it. haven't fired it 10 years.

I've got some of that leverevolution stuff, I just wish they had it in heavier bullets.

I have no idea how mine even shoots. Every time I get ready for a range session other crap comes up.

Accuracy-wise, the leverevolution ammo is in a class all it's own. With the traditional types of 30-30 ammo, the best groups I was ever able to get at 100 yds were in the 3" range. With the leverevolution, 1~1.5" groups were no problem at all. That kind of grouping with an unmodified 336 Marlin is just awesome.

I think a 30-30 lever gun is next on my must haves for the new safe and a basket full of good ammo too.
