      For me...

      1. My 12ga pump. If it was not "tactical" I'd have more fun, which is why I'm buying a regular shotgun

      2. M&P15-22LR

      3. 30-06, bolt action

      4. Ruger LCP

      5. Glock 19

      6. AR-15

Yeah, more a listing of the order of fun for the guns I have and shoot. Still..

That's fair enough that the Ruger 10/22 would look similar, but it would not function similar still. If I am remotely correct, a lot of the lower parts are same/similar to an AR-15 and overall the function of the M&P 15-22 is the same as an AR-15.

IMHO, the 10/22 is the better bang for the buck. However, if you want to practice shooting an AR style gun, with those sights the 15-22 is a great option.

Also, I noticed those 10/22 accessories really are not that cheap either. The M&P runs 450-550, new I think.

Are we still talking about 10/22s?

I love my mini draco, i guess that is why i have so many, especially after they stopped importing them.

next would be my cheap little 22 s&w target gun.

No one here mentioned aesthetics. I will say the look doesn't agree with me, but they are fucking fun to shoot. I was eyeing the one in Desert Tan when I went to CTD yesterday; as much as I would like to have a pistol grip on mine I think the rewards are just too expensive, since I have shot that setup in the past. I am saving up for other things I think I will do now with just a trigger job hahaha.

If it doesn't improve accuracy and it doesn't improve the feel, then it should improve the look imo.

Here is probably my 3 favorites to play with out of my collection.

                            DPMS/Del-Ton with an EoTech
                            DPMS/Model 1 Bull Barrel with a VX-1

Siaga 12 probably the most impractical but it sure does make me smile

For cheap plinking I usually go with my Ruger mark 3 .22

Seems like you're not even taking into account how it protects the rifle, or makes it lighter/easier to shoot with.

I have the above stock like the green or tan one, but in black - not the weird ass black one with all the lattice shit. I'll be getting rid of mine in a few weeks when I switch to an SBR suppressed gun. Overall it's been a damn good stock for what I wanted it for. I need a rail to mount a IR illuminator for night vision, I wanted a vertical grip so I could shoot from the hood of my jeep while driving, I needed a storage location on the rifle to keep CR2032 batteries for my red dot, and I wanted a stock I could beat the shit out of and it didn't show the wear. There were no other stocks that offered all of those things. I only buy things I have an precise purpose for/use for. I use my 10/22 for hunting.

Unfortunately I don't have any current pictures, but it looks better now.

DEFINITELY my 10/22 for the most fun. My only complain is they don't make a 500 round magazine. I just like ripping on that damn thing like a madman. Second most favorite would be my python - I love that damn gun, I just feel guilty as hell shooting it/putting wear on it. And third would be my model 29 .44 mag. It just feels like out of control thunder and it's accurate as hell.
