  • Larue Tactical Rifles

Anyone have any experience with these? I had the chance to sell my AR for what I wanted for it, and am trading up so to speak of. I ordered the lighter weight preditAR 5.56. I'm pretty stoked about it. I have never heard anything bad about Larue and have never experienced anything bad either. Just wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience with one of their rifles... And brag a little!

Their guns will do what they claim they will, but yeah, CJ's right. They're expensive.

I didn't think that 1500 was too bad. Especially for what you get with the two stage trigger, a CNC'd upper and lower as opposed to hammer forged, a 15" handguard, and magpul furniture. Not to mention that it only weighs 6.5 lbs empty. I'm going to be using it for is 3 gun stuff mostly, so the pencil barrel isn't a big deal to me.

I don't have experience with Larue but I try to buy their little things here and there since they are a TX based company.

With that said, I put them in the same bucket as LMT. Expensive, good, but expensive. Shooting my buddy's LMT - I can't see what all the hype is about over the more mainstream brands. It's all mil-spec to me.
