  • Dillemma: obsolete crap you love but will never shoot

So i have about 6 boxes of Sampson and Uzi brand 41AE, original boxes, all three loads that i know of. A few of one have been fired, but i have most of those cases. Also a polygonal barrel that fits most 9mm CZ style slides, at least nominally, and a couple hi cap 41AE mags (marked 41AE, the real deal). Barrel has the said handful of rounds through it. I might also even have lee carbides for it, i have to check. Maybe not. Or i

I have over time come to the conclusion that chasing brass is not for me. But this stash is unique. I'll never shoot it but will it ever be any more valuable in the long run?

What could I get for it all? Or should I just keep it? Will I be old and grey before it is uber collectible? I already am old and grey actually...

And then we can talk about my 45 win mag obsession that I'm almost over. Almost.

we've got some 41ae stuff, my dad bought a conversion for 1 of his pistols because we ended up with a fairly large amount of the stuff and the conversion was cheap.

LOL, the .41 AE stuff sounded familiar, then the .45 Win Mag obsession sealed it.

I keep wanting to get into fringe factory loads that are really only any good if you reload them. I can't let 'em go either, dude.

You got it. Cast any 44s? I was curious what you came up with. If you ever decide to let any of that go give me a call first. I doubt the 10 is going anywhere but that too.

No, I never did. I've still got all that stuff though. I have 100 pounds of wheel weights somewhere, and a bunch of lead ingots I got off eBay. Shortly after I got everything, I stopped shooting and reloading and it just sat there. But since I bought the .458 upper, I'm going to get back into it soon.
