  • Liberty real life Fire Test

Opened this Liberty after a fire In N Richland Hills. Everything was perfect inside all the guns were as before and all the papers were barely damp. The area around the safe burned for 4 1/2 hours.

I think Liberty will repair/replace it for free.

Yep three years old and lifetime fire warranty they're gonna send him a new one. It was a Liberty, fire rated @ 45 min. They all withstand what they're tested for but this is the best I've seen. The paper contents looked like you picked them up off your desk. Ammo and guns looked like nothing happened. Liberty does their homework on their fire testing they have their own ovens for testing. I think pretty much everyone else uses independent testers. But still a pain in the ass with these results and adequate insurance coverage, house burns to the all the way to the ground has to be a big SUCK.

No,fire protection is toast. The insulation is baked free of its moisture so no protection.

I don't think they make safes big enough for all your guns.

It wouldn't be a safe, it would be a room.

Could you try to be adequate at posting pics? It's a lot easier than cracking safes. Got me damned curious to see it.
