Dove hunt fail this year

I've never even limited out on doves, I've gotten close but never over it. 15 is enough for 2 full meals. I've always tried to stay within the guidelines for any hunt. If me and my wife were shooting I wouldn't start bagging for her because I think that's part of the sport involved, you earn yours.

Well, see that's the whole thing I had my dad and my brother with me. They didn't limit out and even though I shot 31 and didn't keep more then 15 on me. I could just gave them a few doves I wasn't over my legal limit. So people on here need to calm the fuck down before they start accusing shit.

Each licensed hunter is allowed to take their own limit. If one hunter doesn't get his limit, and another hunter has, that hunter can't fill the first one's tags. That's just unethical hunting. Your Texas Parks and Wildlife handbook actually says it's against the rules. Read it.

And how would you know who shot what amount of doves as long as you have the legal limit. But anyways I'm done talking about this. I hope y'all have a great and successful rest of the season.

No, I just don't have anywhere to go. The spot we hunt at, after opening weekend the dove hunting just goes to shit.

Yes, I know what would happen if I got caught with more then the legal limit. That is why I never had more then 15 on me. I shot 15 clean them and took them home since I only lived 10 mins away. Then went back out shot 15 more took those home. Went back out just to hang out and drink some beer and shot just one more. So if the GW ever came up to me I would not had any doves over the legal limit. So I guess I wouldn't got into trouble with him.
