Spring for it if you want the peace of mind. Either way, you should be dilligent about cleaning. FWIW, I just bought a kit, and did not get a chromed BCG or barrel. If I ever have to fight it out with Wolf ammo in the jungles of panama, though, I may end up regretting the decision.ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh

If you cant take 5 min to scrape some carbon off your bolt when your done shooting. Hell you dont even have todo this. Ive shot up to 500 rounds and had some buildup that came off in 2 min.
Clean your shit. I will say chrome is nice as shit basically wipes right off.
