Ruger LCP - Accessory Input

So, I bought 3 magazines at midwayusa (18 a pop, which is cheaper than post places) and a laserlyte laser.

I know the thought on them being worthless, where in my eyes it would be most valuable on a pocket carry. The sights are very poor IMO for anything low light, not to mention the laser helping if you get caught up while running or something. In general with such a small gun I think it'll just help to get on target a bit faster. (real life or at range)

Also, I could not justify a laser on any other weapon I have and I could on this one. I like the reviews on the Laserlyte and Crimson lasers. I did not like the bulk added to the weapon with the Crimson (another brand too) lasers. I also like being able to use the same holster.

Once the magazines come in, I'll have some ammo and can actually become proficient with it.

Call me a wuss, but I absolutely have to have my trigger covered when it is stowed. I'm not paranoid to the point that I don't keep one in the chamber but I am paranoid enough to want it covered.

Although, I noticed it has like a 3 foot trigger pull on it (dual action) - so it would be hard to accidentally pull it.

Also, it would solve my problem of how to carry when running in strange towns at odd times too.

Being a concerned and responsible gun owner does not make you a wuss at all.

I have the lcp with crimson trace laser, I am happy with the quality of the kit.

it makes it easier to shoot by about 25% and its not real expensive i also put a polished stainless guiderod in mine.

Did you pick up both the guiderod and the spring kit from Wolf? I can't get on their website right now but will later to check them out. I often carry my LCP and now that I have the Crossbreed Minituck I might carry it more.

Man, I kinda want one of those now.

Have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but at least carrying it around and getting comfortable with it - awesome for that.

100% better then carrying a compact around IWB.

Anyway, can you post a pic of the gun in that? I'm thinking about that for running/other things where I maybe active and wearing stretchy/loose shorts/pants.

lol, if my Dad shoots and likes the Ruger I was going to take him to a gun store to check out the Kel Tecs. Depending which one he favors, he is getting it for Christmas.

I'll be sure to send you my stocking for Christmas though.
