For a SHTF scenario, what best combo using the same ammo?

In such a scenario, a bug out bag/car/cabin has a finite supply. I figured, why take two whole sets of ammo?

What would be your best rifle/handgun combo that could draw from the same ammo supply?


(Im a newbie at weapons, and don't plan on collecting. Just want to get the right combo the first time.....just in case that fucker Denny is right)

I'm really more of a 5 cal guy. I like a .308 for distance, .223 for semi-auto/full-auto mid range, 12 gauge for close proximity blasting, .40 for my sidearm and my .32 for "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!"

I reserve the last round for myself cause that's how I roll.
