Definitely interested in that. Keep us informed.

Also, I got my Fenix TK 35 in on Friday and it really is a nice light. Got a couple of Ultrafire 3000 mAh rechargeable batteries and charger to go with it.

I am going to, I am just waiting on the last shipment of stuff to get here. It is the drivers and a new glass lenses for the maglites. The stock ones are some sort of plastic and scratch easily.

It is not just plug and play stuff as the entire guts of the light will be replaced or worked over. Its not nearly as complicated as it sounds but there is some level of craftsmanship that needs to be paid to get it right. I will post up all details in a new thread in a week or so after I get them all together tested out.

I carry a Pelican 7060 at work. It's okay but does not have the best run time plus it is kind of bulky. It is rechargeable and has a tail switch too.

I picked up a cheapo supposed 200 lumens light. Man it puts my 2d mag to.shame. I can't wait for the 468 lumens. The cheapo I got does have an adjustable head. No donut and lights up twice the size. I like it for 12 bucks.

I've already got the bug. I want to build a 6p next and either do the mag conversion or get the tk35.

Just picked one up for $95.00. Comes with 2 CR123 batteries, lanyard and holster, plus free shipping.

I also opted for a charger and two 900mAh rechargeable batteries for an extra $37.00.

    $132.00 out the door.

Here's the link if anyone is interested.
    ShopWiseGuys

They had the best prices I've found so far. They also told me about a brand called Olight. Pretty damned nice flashlight for the money.

Yup, before I bought the rechargeable's I would use my Surefire's sparingly as I didn't want to waste expensive batteries unless I really needed it. Now I use them all the time and keep the non-rechargeable's in a storage case that goes with me when I camp in case of emergency (they have a pretty long shelf life).

Here's a link to where I bought mine. I bought mine with a 6 pack of rechargeable batteries.
