My everyday carry light is a modded 6p. A hot rodded M6 in my bag (1300 lumens) rounds out my daily light needs.

You haven't done a damn thing with lights until city code enforcement is threatening to report you to the FAA and the FBI.
So I'm guessing you never herd of a mag85 or a ROP or a mag 623??
my saying is if you can still hold it after 30 sec its not brite enough.

Also surefire only making led lights now.

I say "If you can stand in front of it for 10 seconds without catching on fire it is not bright enough". This is a 1000watt short arc HID search light called a VSS-3. It is rated at 50,000,000 candle power and will blind you instantly and permanently if you look into it any closer then 320 meters.

Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Im sure you can use this streamlight as a tactical, but my buddy brought this one over the other night, I have a 3-Dcell maglight with led bulb and it was as bright or brighter.

Just this week got the last package with the drivers in it. (shipping from china takes forever) I am still waiting on chargers to show up. I am working on getting it all together and should be finished just in time when the chargers show up. I have not forgot about you guys, it has just taken longer than expected for shipping.

I was going to post I have a few SureFire G2L 120 lumens brand new in the pack for sale....
By far the brightest light I have ever seen, guessing it is under rated at 120. They are mountable and aftermarket pressure switches are out there for them.

Would not mind seeing some of the modded lights posted.

And all I have are the Desert Tan. This is the older 80 lumen, but still looks the same http://www.amazon.com/Surefire-G2L-S...6023539&sr=1-1

I'm pulling up to work and don't have time to look it up. What type of batteries does it use?

LOL! Most Surefires run off of CR123's (didn't know this but I found a couple of models that run on AA's which I found odd). G2's definitely run on CR123's though.

I have a Lenova that uses the CR123's and they dont last very long. It does have the 5 LED head, not sure of thats why it uses up batteries and they are expensive. Im was going to buy the Streamlight but I think Im going to hold off and buy the TerraLux 300 since it uses two AA's and they are alot cheaper. The TerraLux also has 100 and 300 option and for under $50.00 im in...
