  • The Colt 1911 is 100 years old today

Today marks the first day of the Frankford Arsenal's production for the M1911 and .45 ACP cartridge. It is still one of the most popular pistols in the world, and the basis for almost every semi-automatic pistol in existence. All hail to the chief - John Browning.

Incredible that a piece of technology 100 years old is still so widely used.

I have a glock, I probably know more about glocks than even advanced glock owners.

It really wasn't directed at you, but Im sure the Glock haters will be by soon to spew their hatred, ie: DOHaterCTDJSK or whatever his screename is.
I have a G-32 now, but my first was a pre-ban G-21 (first Gen). I sold it, but I should have kept it. It just didn't feel right, it was very accurate though. The main reason it's my carry is for comfortability, I can't ever tell its there and its always ready to go.

Is that G32 the same one vadertt sold? Damn, seems like there is 15 people on here that own a G32. As far as ammo you're screwed on that one, I'm not a .357 sig fan, reloading necked cartridges is a gigantic pain in the ass.
