You know, people always laugh at bayonets. Hell I use to all the time. But until you've had something charge at your completely unexpected and certainly without sufficient time to pull a sidearm - you won't have the proper respect for how useful they can be. They still have uses.

I was thinking of getting one for my daughter since she's ready to move up from her single shot cricket .22 rifle. I think its more that she wants to be like me and have an AR look but I would still find some way to add some hello kitty stuff to it

Walmart had a AR looking .22 in stock for 224.00 10/22s are hard to find right now.

If i'm not mistaken, those are the Mossberg POS .22's. Don't waste your time or money.

LOL, those mossberg AR style look is just a 100 dollar plinkster in a polymer shell....should just go ahead and spend the extra bucks and get a S&W M&P 22lr...

Wouldn't that be the same thing with a higher pricetag? BTW, this is for my 7 year old daughter. Too bad crickett doesn't offer something like that since I know it would be a size she could comfortably use.

My dad gave me a 10/22 last year and I went online to check how old it was.

It has a serial number that starts with 113 - it was made in 1974.
