Looks pretty cool and a 10/22 platform is hard to beat. Any idea what he'll be paying?

For $400 that is a good deal. The stock and factory 10/22 would run more than that. Not to mention a threaded barrel - even though it looks like a factory barrel.

Has he handled it yet? I personally didn't like the feel of the archangel kit at all. I ended up modifying an extra wooden stock to my taste instead.

Never liked the feel of the Archangel kit. Eventually just put the UTG rail on our 10/22 so my son can put a bipod on it and we can put whatever optic we want on it.

I honestly don't think he will ever shoot it. He fires about shots a year out of his hunting rifle. 2 or 3 to make sure its still sighted in and 1 shot one kill. then he packs his shit up after he gets a buck and doesn't go back to the lease again till the following year.

He has the Deer lease and the lake house...he is at one or the other EVERY weekend... but only at the lease if its season and he hasn't tagged yet

He didn't win that one so we bought this one. Same thing but has a red dot scope and a bayonet and got it for only $10 more

You know, people always laugh at bayonets. Hell I use to all the time. But until you've had something charge at your completely unexpected and certainly without sufficient time to pull a sidearm - you won't have the proper respect for how useful they can be. They still have uses.
