Never see Dove at our place till deer season. Did have quite a bit of Quail last few years.
We do go down every Dove opening just to get the lease in order, fill and turn up the feeders....Comment

I'll be in Hico on opening day like every year. Hopefully it will be better than the previous, haven't limited out on opening day since 08. Last year slit-season was good though. My bird dog is at his trainers now for refresher. Pulled my footlocker out the attic to wash camo, check my gear, put new batteries in the Mojos, ect. Went to Cableas today to get a super combo, i'm so ready. Dove is just the start of the hunting season.

I got lucky this year and was invited to a hunt in Hamlin. I used to have 660 acre lease outside Aspermont that had good dove. Sucks your hunt fell apart but check out public lands.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostMan, my dove hunt this year fell apart right at the last minute
