Sorry to hear about your dad, and the only weapon I've carried regularly is a Taurus .38 special revolver. Mostly because if it ended up getting stolen I wouldn't worry about losing a $100 gun near as much as a $700 one. If I carried all the time I'd have one of the Airweight revolvers. I love my Kimber UC2 but it stays at the house, next to my Sig.

I have a Ruger SP101 and I love that gun. Most people don't carry revolvers because they think they are not cool."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

If a revolver does not go boom when you pull the trigger, all you have to do is pull the trigger again. Not so with a semi-auto. Revolvers are the most fail-safe guns you can own.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Its sad, but I bet if they put rails on revolvers so people could hang all their doodads on them and call them tactical revolvers they would become more popular. Much like what Stoeger did with the coach gun.
