Picked up a Plum Crazy lower today. With exception to the spring on the hammer, it's all plastic, including the hammer. I only have one upper, but it fits really snug with no wobble. It feels like it should last forever. The trigger feels really nice, it pulls about 1/32" and breaks clean. Comparing the weight, it is noticeably lighter then it's aluminum counterpart. This is what i'm going to build my ultralight rifle on.

After you get the rifle built and put about 5,000 rounds through it could you give us a range report, along with before and after pics of what the lower looks like after a lot of use? It would be interesting to see how they hold up; I mean Glocks are all polymer lowers and hold up exceedingly well. The moving slide actually sits on polymer frame. With the AR most of the moving parts will be away from the lower anyway so I don't see it having much of an issue unless you start to see premature wear where the takedown pins are held in.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

I owned one. The hammer started to get beat up pretty bad after about 500 rounds. I tried to replace the grip with a Hogue grip and accidentally cross-threaded the screw in the plastic. It was snug but I always worried about it. Never had any failures though before I traded it away after about 2000 rounds. Also, the safety selector could be switched back and forth with the hammer up (not cocked), it doesn't do that on a regular aluminum one.

I'll pass"You don't so much drive it, more like poke it with a sharp stick and channel the fury when you piss it off."

I have one with a basic 16" 223 upper and the slidefire stock . Bout 1k rounds through it and no issues . Not so sure I would trust it for anything bigger than 6.8 though . I was originally gunna build a 5.7 with it but just havnt made myself spend the $ on the upper .
