    AR15 Kit thoughts?

    Looking at finally getting my kit..need to order by tomorrow from Delton for the 15% off

    Looking at this:

    is 16" rifle a bad idea? Looking for a home gun...not long range.

      You need a rear sight. The carrying handle will be the cheapest option on that site, I think.

        thanks man...this is my first. Got the damn stripped lower back in the Obama scare/Don group buy... been sitting since then.

        Saving $85 with their sale.


        Thinking of going with a red dot or something similar

          The AR15 group buy on SWFA.com might still be on. They were doing Aimpoint comp M2's for $432 shipped with the complete kit. I bought one, and Chopped54 bought one. Coupon code AR15M2.

            Well for that price I'll just get the Armalite. Found one for $650, seems like a good enough deal. Never heard of Del-Ton, kinda makes me weary

                Del-ton is pretty well known... besides..$510 to my door...hard to beat.
